UPDATE:
This week's competition entry is now closed.
If your clan would like to participate next week Saturday 3rd May , PM me the following information:
1) Server EU or NA
2) Clan Abbreviation and Name
3) Clan Twitch Stream Page Address
4) Team leader Battle tag
5) Confirm (Y or N) that your clan can farm Torment 1+, that you are available during the given times on Saturday and that you have a means of clan communication.
Weekly scores / rankings will be tabulated on a Google Spreadsheet, available to all.
Rules:
A team must consist of 4 persons from the same clan.
The same 4 persons are required to farm for the full 6 hours. No swapping team members.
A twitch.tv stream site must be set-up for the clan.
The team must be joined in a chat room (TS, RC, Mumble, Skype etc). Viewers will want to hear the team interact / talk - this also makes life a lot easier when updating the scorecard. The stream may be in any language.
New steams must be test streamed prior to the competition start. If you are not fully ready as soon as we start youre out.
The team must farm Rifts and/or Bounties on Torment I or higher.
Crafting materials and plans do NOT count; Legendary and Set items count equally (as 1 item).
To count Legendaries, the streamer must have all players drop acquired legendaries in town after each Rift run. The streamer then hovers over each individual legendary to check the drop timer, which will indicate that the drops are fresh.
With the above being said Cache and Kalada Legendaries do NOT count as these are BOA and do not have a timer.
Lastly - > Honesty is the only way a competition like this can work, nothing else to say here.
Other Information:
Already established streamers are welcome to participate; however they are representing the clan and not themselves. The idea behind this competition is to build clan rivalry and allow the streamer and indeed the participants within the clan to change each week if required.
Bringing enough Rift Keystones to farm Rifts only will be to your teams advantage. With the Rift Legendary buff, spending time in bounties for keys will reduce your efficiency greatly. As a guide I recommend 300-400 Keystone fragments per team.
The majority of viewers will want to watch something challenging / interesting. Charging through t1 & t2 is boring to watch (unless of course your team does the full clear using thorns only ;) so although the entry requirements are t1+ its expected that the clans gear will allow t3+ efficient farming.
Metrics recorded: Torment Farmed, # of Legendaries Found.
Additionally if your clan wishes to keep track of # of rifts cleared this could allow for some interesting correlation of data, etc Legendary/Rift, Rifts/Hour etcA link to the legendary score card for use as a stream overlay will be PMd to the team leaders after the entry closes.
This post will be updated until the start of the competition so be sure to check back later for more info.
